Table Installs

After being around pool tables our whole lives, we have seen so many different kinds of tables and some are easy to assemble and some can be very difficult. We at Billiard Mover have years and years of experience with moving and installing all kinds of pool tables. It takes a special technique to install a pool table. Done correctly and use minimal shims. Another very important thing about installing a pool table is to make sure the cloth has a nice clean tight stretch for the fastest and most accurate play. It is very critical in making sure you get the best install on your pool table to have the best play on it. Some pool tables take longer to install which in turn is why we have different pricing depending on what kind of table you have. Please allow 2-4 hours for installation on your pool table, depending on the brand, size and style of table.

Moving

When moving a pool table we strive to take excellent care of your table starting with the disassemble to the transportation. We also take extra precaution moving the table in and out of your home to be sure not to ding or dent any doors or hallways along with the table. We take our time to make sure we get the move of your pool table done correctly so be prepared to spend 3-5 hours. When we move the table it will take about a 1/2 hr to get the table out of the first location and loaded into the truck. Once we get to the new location it would take anywhere from 2 to 2 ½ hours to complete the job. Also, keep in mind drive time between locations to factor in the time you need for the pool table move.

Another thing to think about is possibly Re-Covering your table at the time of your move. Reason being you table is already apart and more easily accessible. It is also cheaper to do so at this time since the table is apart. Ask us about this at the time of scheduling your move.

Re-Cushions

Not all 100% pure rubber cushions are created equal. Cheap fillers have been used in billiard cushions for years. We use premium quality rubber that is processed with proprietary chemicals and pigments to increase accuracy and produce consistent play.

Recovers

At the time of moving a table is the best to recover. The table is already apart and more easily accessible. A table should only be moved maybe once or twice before it needs a new cloth. The reason being is that the cloth loses it’s stretch and remains “loose.” Make sure to take extra precaution and cover your table when not in use. Also, make sure your table is not in direct sunlight, as it will fade. Don’t be afraid to ask our technicians about any precautions. view cloth colors
